A school district in South Carolina is asking voters to approve a $239 million bond referendum on Nov.
5, the State reports.
According to WYFF, the Lexington-Richland School District Five bond referendum will fund work at 12 schools, including a new Dutch Fork Elementary School, new classroom wings at Lake Murray and Chapin Elementary, and renovations at Crossroads Intermediate, Dutch Fork High, Harbison West Elementary, Irmo High, Spring Hill High, Nursery Road Elementary, and Academy for Success.
The district's goal is to have schools at 80% capacity, so the work will allow them to meet the individual needs of students with special needs, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and more, the State reports.
