Tootie Rinker will be honored on March 6 as the 2025 Community Star at the Community Foundation of the Northern Shenandoah Valley's annual banquet.
Rinker served as a blood services representative for the last 17 years of her tenure as head of the Winchester chapter of the American Red Cross.
She retired in July 2009, but it didn't stop her from volunteering.
