Naomi Evans Stotts was born in Nebraska to a family of six and grew up in Loveland, Colo., where she attended school and worked at a library for 25 years.
She died peacefully in her sleep last week at the age of 95, her son, Gary Stotts, tells the Loveland Reporter-Herald.
She was a self-taught artist who loved to paint on canvas and created many beautiful mountain scenes.
"She had a kind hearted, positive, energetic personality with a quick wit and occasionally a bit of orneriness," her son says.
"She was always ready for some fun."
