Innovating Marine Biology Observation Systems

The ANERIS project integrates different marine life-sensing technologies to implement the new concept of Operational Marine Biology.

The information flow will be based on an automatic pipeline of information production, from acquisition to interpretation and dissemination.

The technologies will be implemented in a co-design framework involving all the relevant stakeholders: academia, industry, civil society, and government.

The project proposes to benefit all the actors involved in the quintuple helix framework of innovation.

Weston Mill-based social enterprise Surplus Rescue CIC (Community Interest Company) recycles and finds homes for unwanted furniture. To date, it has received “extensive amounts” of quality second-hand furniture including desks, pedestals, cupboards and office chairs from a former local authority office equipment – and wants to find them a good home.
